Throughout this adventure, which is just beginning, the story has pretty much been mine to tell. As I sit here, trying to remember people, places, little moments that might matter to somebody, it occurs to me that
OTHERS HAVE THEIR OWN STORIES.
I can’t tell them for you but I hope they’re willing to share.
This links page is designed to guide you through the past as others have recorded it. There may be contradictions. That would be wonderful. Some folks may not remember the night Lou Connor’s house burned to the ground as we watched, helplessly. Or they may not know that my dog Prince was given a certificate for perfect attendance because he came to school every day and played on the slide with the little kids.
I can’t remember everybody, though every day brings another person into view.
Charles, Lucille, Neil, Brent, Gary and Cheryl Shepler
Nelson, Blanche, Mark, Linda and Brenda Stelle
Billy Ray Davis
Nina Davis Smith, David, Elmer, Janice, Janet
Ruth Sutter (If you remember Ruth, bully!)
Kenny, Ancille, Barbara Jean, Marilyn, Elizabeth and Richard Davis
Ray and Joan Chapman
The Younts family
Hermanm Dale, Roy, Linda Bowers
Howard and Alice Snider
Jimmy Boyd (a little story about Jimmy)
The Kleins, the Logans, the Glaubs, the Bonars, the Loutzenheisers
Janet and Carol Cornelius
The incredibly large Browning family
(Anybody heard of Lonnie Mack?)
Steamboat Stevens, and “Ippit,” his son
The Messer family
Ora Linegar and his family (I’ve heard from these folks)
Wendell Luker, Carolyn Luker, Al Hansford, Hazel Luker
That doesn’t cover it but we’re getting there.
Send me a memory. I’ll link to it or tell somebody how to get to you. Note that most the links boxes below aren't connected to anything. Let me fill them in.
