Recollections: Jimmy Miller and John Schwab were roughnecks, Jim Hughes says. “The only team that beat us was Brookville and they had a couple of guys who were too old.”

Tommy Hodapp moved to Fairfield from Bath in 8th grade when Bath closed its school.

Bob Mode, our teacher in 6th grade, liked checkers tournaments.

Jim says only he and Linda Crocker went to school together for the full 12 years from first grade through graduation.

Jim’s 8th grade graduation at the Methodist Church in Fairfield. A UNIQUE look at the inside of the church.

A couple of photos his family and house.

A couple of photos of the old school, where Jim attended in first grade.
