Don writes: “Both were taken by Ben Winans who ran a Brookville print shop. I have his collection of glass plate negatives. The photos involved here are #140, Fairfield from Speer Hill, Sunday, March 15, 1914. It was taken from the vicinity of where Merle Updike's property was located.”
